The BMW 3 Series Diesel range

The BMW 3 Series range features our largest range of diesel models.  From the 320d with its powerful 130 kw powerplant through to the 335d featuring the worlds 1st variable Twin-Turbo.  You also have the choice of Sedan and Touring variants, meaning that in total we can offer a total of 9 different diesel models within the BMW 3 Series range.

320d

We have been selling diesel BMW 3 series models in New Zealand since 2000.  The 320d was the first diesel model we introduced into New Zealand.  This year we will launch our third-generation common rail diesel engine with an electronically-controlled diesel fuel injection system.  This system operates at extremely high pressures allowing for a remarkable and efficient combustion process.  These BMW diesel vehicles run at extremely quiet noise levels and have excellent fuel efficiency as you would expect with a BMW diesel engine. We offer the 320d diesel engines in both sedan and touring variants.

330d

This engine demonstrates in the most impressive manner how much power you can get out of a diesel.  Even at 1,750 rpm, this six-cylinder in-line diesel engine with 170.kW generates 500 Nm of torque to drive the crankshaft.  This ensures massive pulling power and supreme performance: 0-100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds, and a top speed of 250 km/h.  The 330d diesel engine is offered as an M Sport model in the sedan variant.

335d

The 335d features the award winning 3 litre diesel engine with Variable Twin-Turbo.  This amazingly powerful engine with 210 kW produces 580 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm.  Whilst you are enjoying the power you also at the same time have the piece of mind in knowing that you are only using 5.6 litres of fuel for every 100 kilometres of driving. The 335d diesel engine is offered as an M Sport model in the sedan and Touring variant.
